On December 2, 2008, Barclays introduced into the Brazilian market Exchange Traded Fund – iShares, and LINK Investimentos entered as an authorized agent for the distribution of such Funds in Brazil.

iShares are a set of ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). Their quotas are traded on the BM&F - Bovespa.

Each ETF iShare seeks returns on the investment which corresponds; in a general way , to the performance of a specific reference index.
