On December 2, 2008, Barclays introduced into the Brazilian market Exchange Traded Fund – iShares, and Link Investimentos entered as an authorized agent for the distribution of such Funds in Brazil.

iShares are a set of ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). Their quotas are traded on the BM&F - Bovespa. Each EFT iShare seeks returns on the investment with which it corresponds; in general, the performance of a specific reference index.
