(Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros). |

Link attained first place in the Ranking of the BM&F - a position it defends right up until today. |

In this same year, the company established a relationship with the clearinghouse MAN FINANCIAL, signed an IB
(Introducer Broker) agreement, and registered itself with the National Futures Association. This placed LINK
along with the main market makers of Brazilian commodities in New York, Chicago, London, and in Asia.

Link started its Research area, thereby catering for the transformations in the equities'
market, which became less speculative and more focused on fundamentalist analysis.

The fall in real interest rates in Brazil started to provoke a shift of financial
savings in fixed income towards equities. On spotting this opportunity for new business,
Link worked towards establishing personal one-to-one relationships with individual investors,
thereby initiating its Wealth Management area. |

Link celebrated its 10th anniversary. It also widened its relationship with
individual clients by offering its services over the Internet through its Home Broker LINK TRADE and
by opening its first branch in Curitiba. |

Link Investimentos continues to invest in technology to offer the best services to their clients.
This year marked the end of home broker operations by Link, and also the end of the branch in Curitiba –
projects that were tied to individual clients and its not Link`s focus. |
